Relationship Counselling in Punjab
Relationship counselling helps you understand the pattern you and your partner keep repeating, communicate what you actually mean, and decide what you want the relationship to become. Sessions are available individually or as a couple, online and confidential.
Online sessions across Punjab and India · Available in English, Punjabi, Hindi
Most relationships do not fail over one dramatic event. They wear down through the same argument had two hundred times, with slightly different words and the same ending. Counselling is where that loop gets interrupted.
You do not need your partner's participation to begin. A great deal changes when one person in a relationship starts communicating differently, and many clients start alone.
Who this is for
- Couples having the same fight on repeat
- Partners who have stopped talking about anything real
- People rebuilding after a breach of trust
- Couples navigating family involvement, expectations or an arranged-marriage transition
- Anyone deciding whether to commit further or step away
What we work on
Communication that lands
Saying what you need without accusation, and hearing what your partner means underneath what they said.
Conflict patterns
Identifying who escalates, who withdraws, and how the two feed each other.
Trust and repair
What rebuilding actually requires from both people, and how to tell repair apart from silence.
Boundaries and family
Setting boundaries — including with extended family — in a way that holds without a rupture.
How relationship counselling works
1. Separate perspectives
Each person describes the situation as they see it, without being interrupted or corrected.
2. Find the pattern
We map the cycle itself, which moves the conversation off who was right.
3. Practise differently
New ways of raising a difficult subject, tried inside the session before you take them home.
4. Decide deliberately
Whatever you choose — repair, restructure or part — you choose it with clear eyes.
What you can realistically expect
No counsellor can guarantee a relationship survives, and it would be dishonest to suggest otherwise. What is realistic is better understanding, less destructive conflict, and a decision made deliberately rather than by exhaustion.
- A neutral space where both people are actually heard
- Language for the thing you have never managed to explain
- Fewer arguments that spiral past the original subject
- Clarity about what each person is willing to change
Frequently asked questions
- Can I come without my partner?
- Yes, and many people do. Individual relationship counselling is genuinely useful — you can only change your own side of a pattern, and that is often enough to shift it.
- Do you take sides?
- No. Both people get the same time and the same honesty. If one person is being harmed, I will name that clearly — that is not taking sides, that is safety.
- We are not married. Is this still relevant?
- Yes. Dating, engaged, long-distance, married or living together — the underlying patterns are the same.
- Is what we say confidential?
- Everything discussed in a session stays private. Notes are minimal, never shared, and nothing is disclosed to family members or employers. The only exception is a situation involving immediate risk to life, which is handled in line with responsible practice.
